Teen Vogue Contest

My sister entered a Teen Vogue Contest and asked yours truly to take the photograph. She gave me one day to prepare, which essentially boiled down to lens and location selection (she chose the outfit). I chose a location that I archived in the back of my mind after having dinner one evening. We set out on a mission for the winning photo and 45 minutes later, we had over 200 shots! Baby Amaya’s Shower ~ Los Angeles Events Photographer

Last Saturday was a wonderful day to have a baby shower. The day was bright and sunny, the home was beautiful, the food was refreshing, and the company was hilarious and memorable. The mother-to-be was positively glowing! With such a great support group, baby Amaya is sure to be in good hands upon his/her arrival next month.

Baby Vincent ~ Los Angeles Newborn Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing this little darling! He was the first newborn I've ever had a formal session with, so I was particularly excited. We kept the room toasty and womb-sounding and made sure the blankets were always straight-out-of-the-dryer warm in between shooting. I had so much fun shooting him in different outfits and playing around with props. Being my first newborn shoot, I didn't know what to expect, in terms of how involved the parents would get. They let me have control of the entire shoot, while they read magazines and texted...=)...and even did damage control when Vincent had an accident...=D...I loved every minute of it and would be thrilled to book more sessions!

Bridal Shower: Althea B. Lyman~ Los Angeles Events Photographer

I had a blast shooting this bridal shower. Althea’s been a friend of mine since middle school and I am one of her bridesmaids. The celebration took place at South Port in New York. I flew out for the weekend and crammed everything in (visiting my sister, watching Mary Poppins, and trying new eateries). Enjoy!
